Last week, Odesa welcomed key representatives from Europe, including the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Ms. Katarina Maternova, and the head of the European Investment Bank's regional office, Kristina Mikulova.

During their working visit, the delegation explored the operations of the rolling stock repair workshops of KP 'Odesamelectrotrans' and toured the electric transport museum, where a brief excursion was conducted.

Last year, as part of the 'Urban Public Transport of Ukraine' project and with financial support from the European Investment Bank, multi-section Tatra trams were acquired.

These trams currently service route No. 7, providing comfortable transportation for the residents of Odesa.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of current and future initiatives aimed at modernizing urban transport, enhancing its efficiency and eco-friendliness.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening the partnership between Odesa, the European Union, and the European Investment Bank in the field of sustainable urban development.
