In the Odesa region, 4,400 individuals benefited from government assistance for prosthetics and rehabilitation aids in 2024.
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
The total amount of aid was 226 million hryvnias.
Last year, the state allocated over 5 billion hryvnias to provide Ukrainians with prosthetics and rehabilitation equipment.
Throughout Ukraine, more than 416,000 rehabilitation aids were provided, benefiting 108,000 Ukrainians.
This is incredibly important, as each prosthetic, wheelchair, orthosis, or other equipment represents a chance to move again, work, be with loved ones, and live a fulfilling life, noted the Odesa Regional State Administration.
