Honor to Ukrainian communicators! Every year on August 8, we celebrate Communications Day.
In the era of modern warfare, technology and intelligence are unimaginable without the efforts of communications personnel.
Today, I wish to express my respect and gratitude to everyone involved in this essential task within the GUR and all security and defense forces of Ukraine—each individual who builds, maintains, and protects the intricate systems and networks that ensure military coordination, allowing us to effectively combat Russian occupiers and inflict significant losses on them.
Communication in war is like the circulatory system: it ensures the flow of critically important data, literally saving the lives of our soldiers.
That’s why one of the first tasks for units entering a sector is to establish reliable communication. Without communication, there can be no success.
Ukrainian communicators keep the lines open during defense and offense, when evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, when moving by sea, air, or land to reach crucial points on the map to destroy the aggressors or their military assets.
Honor and glory to Ukrainian communicators! We pay tribute to all who have fallen while defending Ukraine in the war against Russia.
We continue the fight!
Glory to Ukraine!
