Odessa is actively strengthening its international ties with cities that share our values: unity, openness, and a commitment to peace.
New geographical names have been added to the memorial sign of Odessa's sister cities: Mainz, Heidelberg, and Taida Taveeta (Kenya).
“The place where we stand now represents our large international family. This year, two German cities—Mainz and Heidelberg—have become our partners. These fire trucks are gifts to our city. Three are from Mainz, and two more are from Bristol in the UK. We are truly grateful for this assistance and hope that the Bristol sign will appear soon,” said Odessa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.
Odessa continues to develop cooperation with cities in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. Each new partnership is another voice in support of Ukraine.
