In Odesa, the «Social Taxi» project has been successfully operating for a year, initiated by the Odesa City Council with the support of the public organization «Barrier-Free».
This service is designed for individuals with disabilities, offering them a safe and comfortable means of transportation throughout the city to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other essential institutions.
Since its inception, the «Social Taxi» has completed over 2,500 trips, assisting Odesa residents in overcoming not only distances but also various barriers.
The project is implemented in collaboration with the ambassador of the national initiative «Movement Without Barriers» Valentina Khoruzhaya, veteran organizations, athletes with disabilities, and other community groups.
To access the service, one must call 15-01 or fill out an application on the «Barrier-Free» organization's website or the official Odesa website.
The city continues to develop initiatives aimed at creating an accessible environment for all residents.
