A man was caught in the Belgorod Canal for illegally catching fish using banned nets. As a result, he caught 9 white amurs and 34 carps, totaling over 100 kg.
The damage to Ukraine's fish resources amounted to 158,746 hryvnias. A responsive investigative team from the National Police was dispatched to the scene. An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender, and materials are being prepared to initiate a criminal case. The illegally caught fish, nets, and a wooden boat were confiscated by the police.
