Attacks on Odesa and the Region

On December 23, Russian forces targeted the Odesa port again using drones, resulting in damage to a civilian vessel flying the Lebanese flag that was transporting Ukrainian soybeans.

Additionally, on the night of December 22, Russian troops attacked the port and energy infrastructure in Odesa region, causing containers filled with flour and oil to ignite at the "Yuzhny" port.

One of the most significant attacks on Odesa occurred on the night of December 13, leaving large parts of the region, including Odesa, without electricity, water, and heat, with the city of Artziz suffering the most damage.

Moreover, occupiers have begun to heavily shell the bridge in Mayaki on the Odesa - Reni highway, complicating access to checkpoints and western settlements. Authorities and transportation services have developed alternative routes.
