The company "Ukrenergo" has denied information regarding a possible return of power outages.

This was reported by the company’s press service.

"Recently, some media outlets and telegram channels have started spreading news with clickbait headlines about a potential return of outages. We want to emphasize that the disseminated information is untrue. No restrictions are currently being implemented," the official statement reads.

However, the company representatives noted that there is indeed a need for rational energy consumption, as repair works at energy facilities are ongoing after the Russian attacks. At the same time, due to the drop in temperature throughout Ukraine, electricity consumption has significantly increased – more consumers are turning on fireplaces, radiators, and heaters.

Moreover, with the heating season coming to an end, some generating facilities that cannot produce electricity separately have ceased operations since last week.

The situation is further complicated by cloudy weather in parts of Ukraine, which reduces the efficiency of solar power plants.

Therefore, "Ukrenergo" urges consumers to reduce the use of high-power appliances and avoid turning on several such devices simultaneously from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Reminder:

In Ukraine, due to a significant drop in temperature, as of the morning of April 7, electricity consumption exceeded the level of the previous working day – April 4, by 16%.

On April 8, electricity consumption continued to remain at a high level. As of 9:30, the level of electricity consumption was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day – Monday.
