In Odesa, the restoration of the multi-storey apartment building located at Serednia St., 24, Corp. 4 continues, having suffered significant damage from a massive missile attack.

The building sustained serious damage to its external structures, partitions, and constructive elements. Experts note that only through timely stabilization efforts was it possible to prevent the collapse of the structure.
Recently, active restoration work has begun.

«Restoration work is being carried out in a zone of increased danger due to the presence of 11 floors above without vertical structure covering an area of about 100 sq.m», - emphasized Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the Odesa City Council's Department of Municipal Economy.

«Most of the demolition work has been completed. We have moved to a more challenging phase - restoring the reinforced concrete frame. The first vertical column elements have been installed. Preparatory work for pouring the second floor slab has begun, which will strengthen the structure», - said Anatoliy Rahulin, Director of LLC «Stikon».

Builders indicate that the work is quite labor-intensive and complex, with no analogs in Ukraine. To preserve all parts of the structure, work must be done partially and in specific areas. This takes more time but is more effective for maintaining the multi-storey building.

The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2025.
