In celebration of the Christmas and New Year holidays, various festive events are held in the city's educational institutions.
In kindergartens, thematic activities titled «Christmas Star at the Doorstep» allowed children to immerse themselves in the Christmas spirit, learn about the traditions of Christmas Eve, and recreate some of them.
Additionally, musical and literary entertainment focused on festive Ukrainian traditions were organized for the little ones. Preschoolers, together with their teachers, sang traditional Ukrainian carols, danced in circles, and prepared for the holiday by making Christmas stars and protective amulets.
Moreover, exhibitions of drawings titled «Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!» were held in kindergartens.
At the Odesa children's home «Pearl», «Ukrainian Evenings» took place. Boys and girls made dumplings and cooked kutia. Afterward, the children dined together at a festive table and received sweet gifts. Following lunch, they attended a performance called «In Search of Light».
At the Odesa Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity «White Acacia», a New Year performance titled «Dreams Come True» was held. Over 200 students - young actors, singers, and dancers - showcased their talents, providing the audience with unforgettable emotions and positive impressions.
As part of the «Warm Wave» campaign, students prepared letters for defenders. These were delivered to the hospital for wounded soldiers and defenders at the front, along with treats.
