The Winter Cup SEASIDE RUNNERS kicked off on December 22 in Odesa, gathering 152 competitors from different age groups.

In the under-6 category for the 60-meter dash, Regina and Lev Kalchenko took the gold, while Nika Polishina and Valera Isaev secured silver, and Olivia Lutskovich and David Goryshok claimed bronze.

In the 7-13 age group for girls running 1 km, Valeriya Tsybulishchenko won first place, with her sister Polina taking silver, and Viktoriya Vasyuk finishing third. Among boys, Klymentiy Herasymchuk was the winner, followed by Andriy Zasnov and Andriy Kiryakov.

In the 5 km race, Olga Moroz and Yevhen Yasinsky finished first, with Yelyzaveta Sheremeta and Denys Polyakov earning silver, and Anya Novikova and Maksym Petrov taking bronze.

Sophia Harmash and Serhiy Saltevskyi were the fastest in the 10 km event, followed by Anna Osymukha and Yevhen Vavilov in second, and Olena Titova and Dmytro Bolotnyi in third.

For the longest distance of 25 km, Karine Hrygoryan and Maksym Kiryakov emerged victorious, with Julia Kyrynchanska and Viktor Lazaniuk taking silver, and Oksana Postolenko and Artur Zherebtsov winning bronze.

A festive program was also organized for the children.

The Winter Cup is a series of races designed to test physical fitness. Winners are determined based on individual stages as well as overall results. The event is organized by the public organization SEASIDE RUNNERS with the support of the Odesa City Council.
