A new medical center named «Mariupol. Health» has been inaugurated on Family Glodan Street in Odesa, uniting five medical institutions relocated from Mariupol:

  • Polyclinic of Mariupol City Hospital No. 9;
  • Ambulance No. 9 of Primary Health Care Center No. 2 of Mariupol;
  • Rehabilitation Department of Mariupol City Hospital No. 8;
  • Women’s Consultation of the Mariupol City Maternity Hospital;
  • Dentistry office.

This is the fifth medical hub relocated to other Ukrainian cities for the compact community of Mariupol residents. According to Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko, this center is the largest among those opened before and the last in this series of projects. Medical assistance will be provided to everyone in need.

Vadym Boychenko expressed gratitude to the Odesa community, Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities Oleksandr Slobozhan, and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for their ongoing support and assistance in establishing the center.

«Today marks 11 years since Odesa residents elected me as the mayor. During this time, we have renovated many city hospitals, polyclinics, and ambulances. We work daily to improve the quality of medical services. Today, Odesa has gained another opportunity to receive quality medical care in modern conditions. This also creates additional job opportunities,» — noted Hennadiy Trukhanov.

The event included words of gratitude to the defenders of Mariupol. Among those present were heroes who returned from captivity. They will have the opportunity to undergo treatment and rehabilitation at the new medical center, created with all the necessary conditions for their recovery.
