Two men, aged 32 and 49, were arrested for the illegal storage of grenades in their homes. The police from the Podilsk district received information about this and, with a court order, conducted searches that uncovered items identified as hand grenades. According to the experts' conclusions, these items are military munitions.
“We have informed the suspects of their charges under Article 263, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to the illegal possession of arms. The law stipulates a penalty of up to seven years of imprisonment,” said Oleksandr Zhukovskyi, head of the Podilsk district police, adding that the investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the prosecution.
