The number of individuals requiring rehabilitation services in Ukraine has been steadily increasing. This includes those recovering from injuries, surgeries, or long-term illnesses. The National Health Service of Ukraine reminds everyone that free outpatient rehabilitation is available to all, regardless of their place of residence.

The medical guarantees program includes free rehabilitation for adults and children in outpatient settings. Internally displaced persons can choose any facility in Kyiv that has a contract with the NHSU. However, an electronic referral from a family or treating physician is required before seeking services.

To find the nearest medical facilities, one can call the NHSU contact center at 16-77 or use the analytical dashboard on the service's website, which features an electronic map of service locations: https://cutt.ly/keDoF37u. Filters for area, locality, and service package must be applied.

Patients can also select rehabilitation departments and specialists based on their specializations. A complete list of outpatient rehabilitation services is available at: https://cutt.ly/ieIPVARP.

If a rehabilitation facility demands payment for services covered by the medical guarantees program, it constitutes a violation of patient rights. In such cases, a complaint should be filed:

  • call the service contact center at 16-77;
  • submit a complaint via the online form on the website: https://cutt.ly/5eb9XKbN.
