According to current regulations, multidisciplinary hospitals are required to provide medical services in key areas, one of which is cardiology.
To enhance the healthcare network in Odessa, renovations are underway at municipal clinical hospital No. 11 to create a cardiology and cardiac surgery department.
The new department will feature large and small operating rooms, an intensive care unit, ultrasound room, treatment room, and comfortable small patient rooms. A medical elevator is being installed for easier patient transportation.
Currently, the load-bearing structures of the building are being reinforced, and the layout is being redesigned to meet medical requirements. Medical panels are being used to ensure compliance with European hygiene standards.
Modern energy-efficient windows and door units are being installed, and engineering systems are being replaced. Once the renovations are completed, the cardiology and cardiac surgery department will be ready to receive patients in a modern and comfortable environment.

The capital repair project for building "G" for the cardiology department of the municipal clinical hospital No. 11 includes:
- reinforcement of the building's load-bearing structures;
- replacement of the existing roof with a new one, including new drainage systems;
- installation of new energy-efficient windows and doors;
- repair and construction of entrances at the first floor and basement levels;
- complete cleaning of the façades from repair layers, followed by restoration of the facade;
- redesign and renovation of the interior spaces to meet medical needs;
- installation of all necessary medical and technological equipment with connections to internal engineering networks;
- provision of all building spaces with necessary engineering networks connected to existing systems: water supply (with a complete system replacement, electric water heaters for hot water installation);
- sewage (complete system replacement); heating (complete system replacement and partial upgrading);
- installation of a fire alarm system in all premises; ventilation and air conditioning;
- medical gas supply systems; electrical supply;
- landscaping of the surrounding area.
