Important negotiations regarding security in the Black Sea region are currently taking place in Turkey. These discussions involve military representatives and leaders from nations within the "Coalition of the Willing", notably the United Kingdom and France.
Source: President Volodymyr Zelensky shared insights at a press conference in Odesa on April 15 following discussions with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, reported by "European Truth".
Details: According to Zelensky, military consultations on Black Sea security are underway in Turkey, primarily concerning the "Coalition of the Willing".
"For the past two days, we have been discussing this on the platform of our Turkish partners. They have invited representatives from European countries, as was the case at the summit in Paris – including Britain, France, and of course Ukraine, alongside the host, Turkey," he added.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense previously announced that meetings on April 15-16 would focus on Black Sea security following a potential ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
Despite earlier reports in Turkish media suggesting Russian representatives would attend, Ankara has denied this.
Recall that following negotiations in Saudi Arabia from March 23-25, the USA, Russia, and Ukraine agreed to discuss maritime safety in the Black Sea.
However, following this, Russia presented a list of demands, including the easing of sanctions on the agricultural sector. The US stated they would consider these demands, while Europe rejected the idea of easing sanctions.
