Google has unveiled Flow, a new tool that combines all of its generative models, including Imagen for image creation, Veo for video generation, and the text-based Gemini for crafting cinematic clips, scenes, and stories.

Users will be able to formulate video ideas using Gemini, create necessary assets with Imagen, and then realize their concepts through the generative model Veo.

According to Engadget, Flow will also feature additional editing and video staging functions. Users will have the ability to choose camera movements and angles, as well as edit and add new clips and entire scenes. Moreover, Flow will include its own asset management system for organizing resources and even your prompts.

The new Google tool will be available in the U.S. with a Google AI Pro subscription or the newly introduced AI Ultra. With AI Pro, users will gain access to the upgraded Veo 2 model, which includes several enhancements, such as the ability to control camera movements, a "Reframing" feature to expand frames from portrait to landscape format, and improved understanding of shadows, scale, and interactions in videos.

Meanwhile, the Google AI Ultra subscription will offer access to the new Veo 3 model. This is Google's most advanced video generation model, which not only delivers better quality compared to Veo 2 but will also be able to generate videos with sound for the first time, including ambient noises, birdsong, or even character dialogues.

Remember, at Google I/O, a Gemini chatbot for Chrome was also introduced, along with the launch of the "AI Review" extension for search in Ukraine and other regions, the Imagen 4 image generation model, and the Stitch tool for UI creation. Additionally, Google announced its collaboration with Xreal on smart glasses Project Aura based on Android XR.
