A fire that broke out in Odesa on June 25, 2025, has resulted in a staggering loss of 22 million 148 thousand hryvnias!

According to the South-Western Environmental Inspection, in addition to the environmental destruction, the harmful CO2 emissions reached 7128 tons!

Yesterday in the Peresyp district of Odesa, dry vegetation and shrubs caught fire. Due to adverse weather conditions, the flames rapidly spread over a large area across three hotspots. An aerial reconnaissance was conducted using drones to effectively coordinate firefighting efforts, as there was a risk of the fire spreading to residential buildings. Firefighters, along with the National Guard's fire unit, local fire brigade, and municipal services, quickly contained the blaze and prevented its spread.

The fire was extinguished over an area of 10 hectares.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
