On the night of July 18-19, the city experienced yet another drone attack. Residential buildings, vehicles, and civil infrastructure suffered damage. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians.

At the scene, non-governmental organizations collaborated with local authorities to provide assistance. Coordination of relief efforts is managed by city council advisor Veronika Etnarovich.

The NGO “April Tenth” partnered with UNHCR to provide comprehensive aid:

  • various humanitarian supplies such as blankets, pillows, flashlights, dishes, and other essential items,
  • OSB board provisions,
  • legal consultations for residents,
  • psychological support.

IRC also provided psychological assistance on-site.

From morning, teams from WCK and the charity “Morning of Revival” were on location, offering hot meals and beverages.

The charity “Winds of Change” distributed kits for mothers and children.

The Red Cross was active from the night, helping victims. During the day, they continued their work, distributing plastic sheeting, tarpaulins, and first aid kits.

The municipal “Rescue Divers Service of Odessa City Council” worked with the NGO “Dobrobat” to dismantle hazardous parts of buildings and clear the surrounding area.

Odessa expresses gratitude to partners and UN agencies for their support and solidarity during these challenging times.
