The municipal institution «Veteran Hub» in Odesa has signed a cooperation agreement with the Veteran Support Center in Mykolaiv.
Veterans from Mykolaiv can now access services in Odesa, while residents of Odesa can receive support in Mykolaiv. This collaboration will strengthen veteran adaptation and broaden the range of services offered.
«This is a great example of our cooperation and our willingness to learn from each other,» stated Volodymyr Yermakov, head of the «Veteran Hub».
Mykolaiv's first deputy mayor Vitaliy Lukov emphasized, «This is not just a formalization of friendly relations, but concrete steps towards improving the quality of veteran services.»
The signing of this important document took place earlier this month when a Mykolaiv delegation visited Odesa.
The «Veteran Hub» focuses on several key areas:
- legal support;
- psychological assistance;
- employment support and grant management;
- rehabilitation and medical assistance;
- information on existing programs, services, benefits, etc.;
- organization of recreational, sports, and cultural events;
- conducting training, round tables, and conferences.
