In Odessa, hydraulic tests of heating networks are ongoing, which are essential for preparing for the winter heating season.

The pipes are being tested for tightness and strength to minimize the risk of emergencies during the heating period. The temperature of the heat carrier at this time is below 40°C. Sections of the heating networks that cannot be repaired are being replaced with new ones.

As part of the city’s winter preparations, assistance from USAID's Energy Security Project is continuing.

In the last month, the KP «TMO» received four shipments of pre-insulated steel pipes along with necessary fittings and shut-off valves.

In total, the enterprise received pre-insulated steel pipes with polyurethane insulation:
- diameter 325 — 816 meters;
- diameter 219 — 24 meters;
- diameter 108 — 78 meters;
- diameter 57 — 14 meters.

Additionally, KP «TMO» received: ball valves, heat-shrinkable sleeves, fixed supports, couplings, sealing rings, joint insulation kits, and expansion cushions.

This support will enable further planned work on replacing damaged heating networks.

KP «TMO» urges residents and visitors of Odessa to park their vehicles only in permitted areas and to stay away from areas where ground subsidence has been observed. Please report such issues to the specialized center for prompt response in the housing and utilities sector — 15-01.
