Odessa is making significant strides towards establishing an inclusive environment for all residents and visitors.
The city plans to upgrade the municipal beach «Otrada» to facilitate rehabilitation and leisure activities for veterans, children with disabilities, and other individuals with limited mobility.
Additionally, a facility for developing adaptive rowing sports will be created at the beach.
On August 27, during an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council, the deputies unanimously approved changes to the «Barrier-Free Odesa» program, increasing its funding by 1 million hryvnias.
The total budget for the program in 2025 will amount to 189.5 million hryvnias.
