There are 16 public wells in Odesa providing artesian water.
The quality of water in these wells is monitored by the State Institution "Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".
According to an agreement between the municipal enterprise «Service Center» and SI «ODESA RCDC», water testing for consumers is carried out monthly.
As of June 12, 2025, the results of microbiological studies indicate that the purified drinking water from the public wells complies with the hygiene standards of DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10.
Protocols are displayed at all public wells, allowing anyone to review them.

Odesa has 16 public wells ranging from 111 to 149 meters deep. All wells are maintained by the municipal enterprise «Service Center». According to calculations by the «Service Center», approximately 45,000 city residents use the well services daily. The average water consumption at one well is 8 – 12 cubic meters. Water from the wells is accessible to everyone.
