The City Day celebration in Odesa concluded with an impressive concert on Deribasivska Street. Thousands of locals and visitors gathered in the city center.
«This year's celebration was unprecedented: from Venice to Vancouver, from Berlin to Baltimore. In France, Austria, Germany, the USA, Canada, and the UK, dozens of cities celebrated together with Odesa. We received heartfelt congratulations from European commissioners, Bundestag deputies, British lords, and mayors of European capitals. Odesa is not just a point on a map; it’s a rhythm, a style, a sense of freedom. But most importantly, it’s us together. And here, on Deribasivska, we celebrate with Kalush! This band has become the symbol of contemporary Ukrainian music. Their voice resonates around the world. Today, Kalush performs for Odesa. During the concert, leading dance ensembles from Odesa, art school students, and talented vocalists showcased both classical and modern performances.
Special guests of the evening included the band JAZZ INSIDE with their atmospheric jazz vibes; MUAYAD — a finalist in the national selection for «Eurovision 2025».
The highlight of the evening was the performance of the legendary Kalush Orchestra, who provided unforgettable emotions.
