On April 15, 2025, during a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council, Hennadiy Trukhanov recognized the veterans' team for their participation in the ultra-long-distance marathon across the Aegean Sea.
The adaptive athletes successfully traversed a symbolic route in boats along Mount Olympus and showcased their skills in the strength element of "tug-of-war".
For their active civic engagement, promotion of adaptive sports among veterans, and significant contribution to the development of international sports cooperation, as well as demonstrating courage and team unity during the international marathon in Greece, the veterans were awarded honorary certificates.
