Weather alert for October 4th: significant rainfall is anticipated in Odesa. The Hydro-Meteorological Center of the Black and Azov Seas

Warning about hazardous meteorological phenomena Level I (yellow) danger

Storm warning: In the next 1-2 hours, heavy rain is expected, lasting until the end of the day.

The Odesa City Council reminds residents and visitors to stay informed about weather changes, remain vigilant, and limit movement and travel in the city during adverse weather, especially for elderly individuals, children, and pregnant women. Exercise caution under trees, as strong winds and rain may result in falling branches and wires.

It is advised not to leave vehicles under trees, power lines, or on storm drain grates.

The risk of being in the beach area is extremely high. Due to the storm in the Black Sea, the danger from sea mines is increasing. There is a likelihood of sea mines being dislodged from their anchors and washing ashore, as well as drifting along the coastline. There is also a risk of uncontrolled detonation, especially during stormy weather. If you come across a sea mine (or objects resembling them), do not touch them. It is essential to report immediately by calling 102.
