The municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» has received new machinery for stump removal.
Among the recent acquisitions is a cherry picker with a reach of up to 35 meters, surpassing standard lift capabilities.
This equipment has become a vital asset for the city and is already in active use on the streets of Odesa.
The new lift has expanded the possibilities for the municipal service in tree trimming, particularly tall poplars. It allows for safer and more professional work, giving employees greater maneuverability.
«We also witnessed the new stump remover in action. According to the city workers, previously, removing a single stump could take strong individuals several days, depending on the root system's size. This machine can clear a stump with a diameter of up to one meter in just an hour», - stated Odesa's mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
Currently, “Miskzelentrest” is developing a work plan for 2025 focused on enhancing the city’s landscaping with the new equipment.
