Due to hostile attacks, all traction substations in Odesa remain without power, leading to the suspension of tram and trolleybus services. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council. To ensure transportation connectivity during the blackout, carriers were instructed to increase the number of buses on city routes and organize social bus services that substitute for electric transport. Social buses have been organized for the three main tram routes to reinforce the most congested areas. In place of tram line No. 1, buses will run from the railway station to 28th Brigade Street with intervals of about 30–40 minutes. On the route of tram line No. 5, buses will operate from the railway station to Arcadia via French Boulevard with an estimated interval of about one hour. Additionally, on the segment from "11th Station of the Big Fountain to 16th Station of the Big Fountain," buses are operating to duplicate tram lines No. 17 and No. 18 with intervals of up to 60 minutes.

These social routes and the list of buses only partially compensate for the suspension of electric transport; however, they help maintain basic connectivity between key city districts.
