The Deputy Mayor of Odessa, Hanna Pozdnyakova, and the Director of the Municipal Enterprise «City Heat Supply of Odessa», Valery Ivanov, held a press conference about the company's readiness for the new heating season.
«As of today, all the boilers under the enterprise's management are ready for operation. We have completed the pressure testing of all heating surfaces and addressed any identified damages, as well as conducted hydraulic testing of the entire heating network,» reported Valery Ivanov.
«I would like to emphasize that the tariff for residential consumers remains at the level set on February 24, 2022, which is 1813 UAH/Gcal. As for the specific date for the boilers to start operation, it depends on the order from the Mayor. According to current legislation, the heating period begins when the average daily temperature is +8 degrees Celsius or lower for three consecutive days. Under such conditions, the first to receive heat will be social facilities, followed by residential consumers. Based on Hydrometeorological Center data, we can anticipate that the heating season in Odessa will begin in November,» added Hanna Pozdnyakova.
