On June 17, Odessa suffered a significant attack, resulting in damage to numerous residential buildings in the Primorsky district.
The most severe damage occurred on the streets of Oleksiy Markevych and Novoselskoho.
As of 12:00 PM, specialists reported:
- damage in 51 residential buildings, with at least 6 sustaining severe destruction;
- over 130 apartments were affected, many with broken windows and damaged doors;
- more than 200 square meters of roofing destroyed;
- in some buildings, utilities such as water supply and electricity were disconnected.
Emergency teams were promptly deployed after the attack. Work is underway to seal windows and assess the structural damage.
All those who lost their homes are being provided with temporary accommodation. Two families are currently in the Center for Social and Psychological Assistance.
Affected residents have been informed about the possibility of financial compensation for housing rental.
The city council is providing comprehensive support to those affected, with psychologists and social services involved.
Odessa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, thanked all the services for their coordinated and professional actions.
Efforts to address the aftermath of the attack continue.
