In the evening of March 1, Odessa was struck by a ballistic missile attack. At 5:44 PM, an air raid alert was sounded, and just three minutes later, an explosion was heard in the city. This information was provided by the regional military administration.
It is reported that the attack damaged port infrastructure and a civilian vessel registered under the flag of Panama, owned by a European company. Two port workers sustained injuries.
“All relevant services are working to address the aftermath, and medical personnel are providing necessary assistance to the victims,” stated the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper.
