The "Future Logistics 2025: New Challenges and Adaptation" forum took place in Odessa, focusing on current trends in container transport.
Deputy Head of the Regional Administration, Sergey Kropyva, emphasized the importance of collaboration with the business community, specifically:
• the development strategy for the Odessa region until 2027, including the establishment of a modern transport hub;
• enhancing port security and worker safety;
• international cooperation regarding investments in transport infrastructure.
Participants were informed about solutions to overcome obstacles impeding the region's development, such as:
• simplifying customs procedures and digitalizing processes;
• implementing a monitoring system for customs efficiency;
• the need for streamlined customs control;
• ensuring the safety of strategically important companies;
• reserving workers for the maritime sector.
The Regional Administration is open to collaboration with the business community to achieve shared goals.
