Odessa has launched «Charity Weeks 2025». This annual initiative brings together local government, businesses, and the community to perform good deeds for the benefit of society.
This year, the project will run from April 4 to July 18, featuring 15 charity events.
«We are here today not just to open «Charity Weeks» but to open our hearts, share our energy, and dream of a better future. It is especially heartwarming that these good deeds go beyond Odessa and unite all of Ukraine!»
The Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, emphasized that thanks to volunteers, kindness is becoming a universal language understood by everyone, regardless of where they live, their age, or profession.
In 2025, the project has expanded and is being implemented in other cities across Ukraine.
The initiator of «Charity Weeks», Deputy Mayor Pavel Vugelman, addressed the participants: «I truly believe in the boomerang of kindness in the world. I believe that kindness always returns! You don’t always need resources or money to do good; all that is needed is the desire to help!»
