A Latvian delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economics, Edmunds Valantis, visited the Odesa region.
This was reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- the overall situation in the region;
- the potential for Latvian participation in the concession of the Black Sea commercial port;
- support for the region's energy system;
- development of business contacts in a roundtable format involving entrepreneurs from Odesa and Latvia.
«We have long-standing interregional ties with Latvia, including a signed agreement with the Vidzeme Planning Region, partnership support, and genuine friendship that has stood the test of time,» – noted in the regional administration.
