For the third consecutive day, electricity consumption is on the rise in Ukraine.
This has been reported by "Ukrenergo".
According to their data, on April 9 at 9:30 AM, the electricity consumption level was 1.1% higher than at the same time the previous day.
The company explains that this is due to the persistent cold weather across the entire territory of Ukraine, with nighttime frosts.
It was noted that on April 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, which was 2% higher than the maximum of the previous day, Monday, April 7.
"There is still a need for energy-saving practices. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM," emphasized "Ukrenergo".
As a reminder:
In Ukraine, due to a significant drop in temperature on the morning of April 7, electricity consumption exceeded the previous working day's level (April 4) by 16%.
On April 8, electricity consumption continued to remain high. As of 9:30 AM, it was 2.3% higher than the same time the previous Monday.
"Ukrenergo" refuted the information regarding the possible return of power outages.
