An international delegation, including representatives from the UN Development Programme (UNDP), UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS), and the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), is visiting Odessa.

This visit, organized by UNDP in Ukraine, features five UN ambassadors and other esteemed guests aimed at enhancing international cooperation.

During the working visit, the delegation toured several projects supported by the UN.

The mayor expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to Odessa, particularly regarding the renovation of a local hospital.

Gennady Trukhanov noted that while the facility is a general hospital and does not offer emergency services, it has already saved numerous lives by treating victims from conflict zones who required urgent medical attention. This care was made possible by the highly skilled staff and modern equipment.

Additionally, the meeting participants discussed future collaboration, including attracting international investments for infrastructure projects such as upgrading sewage systems and constructing housing for internally displaced persons.
