Due to the construction of a European railway track on the Chop — Uzhhorod section, Ukrzaliznytsia has restricted the routes of passenger trains from Odesa, Poltava, and Kremenchuk to the station in Mukachevo. This affects all trains heading to Uzhhorod.
This information has been reported by the Odesa City Council.
Ukrzaliznytsia advises travelers to plan their trips to Transcarpathia in advance.
Passengers from Odesa can reach Uzhhorod via Lviv by choosing train No. 12/11 Odesa — Lviv.
For the convenience of passengers, Ukrzaliznytsia has opened advance ticket sales for additional cars on trains No. 59/60 Kyiv — Uzhhorod and No. 45/46 Kharkiv — Uzhhorod, which will run through Lviv, Sambir, and Syanki.
Tickets are already on sale and can be easily purchased via the website, the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile app, or at railway ticket offices at train stations.
