Odesa joins the cities with the 1st Recruitment Center for the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The recruitment center in Odesa is part of the 1st Recruitment Center network, which already operates in Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. Established in 2024 through the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the center aims to simplify the process of joining the Ground Forces. This was reported by the center's press service.

The center is open to everyone who wants to apply their skills in the military: drivers, medics, artillery specialists, and drone pilots.

Among the advantages offered by the center:

the ability to handle all necessary paperwork on-site, including the signing of contracts under the “Contract 18-24” program – from personal files to psychological tests and medical commissions;

a complete package of services that were previously available only with a personal visit to the office in Kyiv.

It is noted that the center is staffed by combat veterans who can provide valuable insights based on their experiences to recruits regarding their choices in the defense forces.

“Working at the station has proven effective. Our candidates who want to enlist but cannot travel to Kyiv come, get registered at our mobile points, and join the Ground Forces,” says Senior Officer of the Staffing Department, Dmitry Andreychik.

If someone wishes to serve specifically in Odesa, that is possible, the military confirms:

“We won’t be looking for candidates in the Kyiv region or Sumy direction. We will search specifically within Odesa city.”
