On August 14, 2025, the International Contemporary Art Festival «Two Days and Two Nights of New Music» kicked off at the Odessa Regional Philharmonic.
For two days, the philharmonic will feature the most cutting-edge, daring, and unpredictable music of the present: from electroacoustic sounds to multimedia projects, from chamber music to interdisciplinary experiments.
This year's festival is dedicated to the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against Russian invaders. A unique aspect of the 30th festival is that its program unites works by Ukrainian and international composers written during the war, reflecting the resilience of the Ukrainian nation and its Armed Forces.
The festival program includes approximately 50 works, including 10 world premieres by Ukrainian and foreign composers. Many musical performances possess a theatrical nature, intertwined with artistic actions, sound, video, and multimedia installations.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Odessa City Council.
Venue: Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh, 15 Nina Strokata St. (for inquiries: 725 15 38).
