From the very start of 2026, the gardeners of the City Green Trust have been busy planting new trees.
As of today, 129 trees have already been planted in Odesa. On Novoselsky Street, there are now 69 maples, 3 acacias, and 1 catalpa. At the Memorial of the 411 Battery, 10 maples and 14 ashes have been planted. Additionally, 8 maples were planted on Chemichna Street, and 24 maples are being planted in the green area near the Bus Station.
Last year, the City Green Trust planted 2376 young trees in Odesa (including ashes, elms, sophoras, maples, linden, and others). All trees have a closed root system to ensure better survival in the urban environment.
