From August 1 to 23, 2025, Edinburgh, Scotland, hosted the prestigious 75th anniversary of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, featuring top musicians from around the globe.

The Ukrainian Navy Band participated in this spectacular event, embodying the strength and will of the Ukrainian people.

Performing traditional marches, folk tunes, and contemporary arrangements, the military musicians from Odessa showcased not only their high level of professionalism but also the indomitable spirit of a nation defending its homeland.

The audience greeted their performance with thunderous applause, while the blue and yellow colors became symbols of resilience and hope in front of the majestic Edinburgh Castle.

The band emerged victorious, receiving the prestigious sword as the top award for their outstanding performance.

On August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day, the Ukrainian Navy Band made history by performing alongside the Scottish Guard Band at Buckingham Palace during the Changing of the Guard ceremony.

In a gesture of friendship between Ukraine and Great Britain, the bands performed the iconic song Stand By Me by Ben E. King, which became a moving symbol of support and unity.

The march from Wellington Barracks to Buckingham Palace and the subsequent performance were not only part of the official ceremony but also a historic recognition of Ukraine on the world stage.

For Ukraine, this was more than just a cultural event; it was a diplomatic gesture aimed at conveying the truth about the struggle and dignity of our nation through music.

The warrior-musicians have once again proven that Ukrainian culture can speak a universal language – the language of the heart.
