Regional Sports Games: Results and Recognition of the Most Active Communities in Odesa
Sports is not just about competition; it is about unity, growth, and pride in one’s community. These values formed the foundation for the regional sports competitions titled "Move Towards Victory" in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, held from May to November 2024 in towns and villages across Odesa.
The NGO "Odesa Territorial Organization of the Physical Culture Society 'Kolos'" organized 106 sporting events for the communities of Odesa region, featuring 19 different sports. Approximately 4,000 participants from 45 territorial communities competed in the final stages of the competitions.
Today, the most athletic communities of Odesa were acknowledged at the Odesa Regional State Administration!
Among rural and settlement communities, the top three included:
- Kuyalnytska Territorial Community
- Saf'yans'ka Territorial Community
- Velykodal'nytska Territorial Community
- Among urban and settlement communities:
- Rozdil'nenska Territorial Community
- Artsyz'ka Territorial Community
- Podyl'ska Territorial Community
The winners received a trophy, diplomas, and sports equipment, while the heads of the communities and physical culture specialists received certificates of appreciation.
