On December 24, a remarkable event took place in Odesa – the ceremony of transferring the Peace Flame, organized by Raisa Kraieva, the leader of the Odesa Center for Children and Youth Creativity club "Samotsvit".
The Peace Flame from Bethlehem is an international scouting initiative held annually before Christmas. Its main goal is to spread the flame lit at the birthplace of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world. This flame symbolizes kindness and support.
The event was attended by representatives of the Black Sea Fleet of Young Sailors and volunteers.
During the meeting, festive greetings were exchanged, alongside many warm words and sincere wishes for peace.
This initiative was supported by the honored cultural worker of Ukraine, Olena Alexeyenko.
