In most regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea and some western areas, an emergency fire hazard level will be declared from April 29 to May 1.
This information comes from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
During this period, there is a heightened risk of forest and field fires across Ukraine. The most dangerous conditions are expected in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of the northern regions.
The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard prohibits open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and avoid leaving unextinguished fires in natural areas.
