On December 5, 2024, Odesa will host the conference «Odesa Accessible for Everyone».

The goal of the conference is to unite the efforts of local authorities and businesses to
foster a barrier-free environment in tourism and hospitality.

This is a pressing issue identified by the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine as a key focus for 2024. Despite the challenges posed by wartime, Odesa continues to welcome both domestic and international tourists, making it essential to focus on infrastructure accessibility and inclusion in the tourism sector.

Special guest of the forum will be Oleksandr Budko (call sign Teren), a Ukrainian military veteran, public figure, athlete, and author. He lost both limbs during the 2022 Slobozhansky counter-offensive but continues to engage actively in public life, advocating for inclusion and veteran support. Oleksandr is a medalist at the «Invictus Games 2023» in swimming and the author of the autobiographical novel «The Story of a Stubborn Man».

Representatives from hotels, restaurants, museums, theaters, medical institutions, and tour guides, as well as anyone interested in developing an inclusive environment, are invited to participate in the conference.
