During October-November 2024, the Municipal Extracurricular Educational Institution «Odessa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charity art project «Open Your Hands for Good» and a Nationwide Seminar-Practicum «Stylization of Ukrainian Folk-Stage Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Styles in Choreographic Groups».
The event was organized in collaboration with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odessa Regional Organization of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.
Funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Open Your Hands for Good» were allocated for purchasing necessary equipment and materials for soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odessa.
The seminar program included master classes from leading specialists in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on current issues in teaching modern dance styles in children's choreographic groups.
All participants of the seminar received certificates of qualification improvement.
