On July 11, a fire occurred in Odesa, leaving one woman injured. The blaze erupted in a private residence. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the flames. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
The incident took place in the afternoon in the Peresyp district. A residential property on Republican Street caught fire. During the firefighting efforts, the homeowner, born in 1938, was rescued and hospitalized with facial and hand burns, in moderate condition.
"The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation. A total of 3 fire units and 14 firefighters were deployed to the scene," the agency stated.
