A new online program titled "Empowering Women in Cybersecurity: Skills Development" is being launched in Ukraine, implemented by CDTO Campus in collaboration with Diia.Business and Diia.Education, supported by the German cybersecurity firm Monarch and the German Foreign Office.

This training initiative will equip women with fundamental knowledge in cybersecurity and teach them to apply advanced cyber defense skills in their professional and everyday lives.

"The Women in Cyber program is an essential starting point for those looking to shift their career path, enhance their digital skills, or gain a deeper understanding of digital risks. Participants will acquire knowledge and practical skills under the mentorship of leading experts from the UK. We aim to systematically develop the field of cybersecurity in Ukraine, address gender imbalances in technology, and create real opportunities for learning and career growth," said Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Women in Cyber is designed for those wishing to transition into cybersecurity or gain new knowledge applicable to their current professions. The educational content will be accessible to all interested individuals, regardless of prior cybersecurity experience.

During the training, participants will familiarize themselves with key concepts and principles of cybersecurity, learn about the specifics of working in this field from experienced experts, and receive practical advice.

The program will consist of seven lectures covering both fundamental and practical topics: basics of cybersecurity; risks and compliance; threat intelligence and resilience during war; working with OSINT; the role of women and keys to cyber resilience; personal growth in the cybersecurity field. Additionally, the organizers will focus on career-related topics and discuss opportunities in cybersecurity.
