From April 23 to April 27, 2025, the National Cup of Paddling was held in Uman. Approximately 400 athletes from 20 regions of Ukraine participated in the event.
Odessa was represented by Albina Yakobchuk, a student of the Odessa Regional Higher Sports School «Olympian». Previously, she trained at the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 6 in Odessa.
According to the results of the competition, the athlete earned the following awards:
C-4 500 m – 1st place,
C-1 1000 m – 2nd place.
Her coaches were Ilya Fedorenko, Oleg Zhilkin, and Nikolai Kravchuk.
In total, 115 athletes are training in the paddling division of the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 6.
