As of October 8, 2023, Ukrainian students will have the opportunity to use Google AI Pro tools free of charge for one year.
This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, on his Telegram channel.
“Modern tools are essential for students to learn more effectively and develop their skills. Starting today, Google provides a one-year subscription to Google AI Pro tools for all students aged 18 and older,” the announcement stated.
Students from Ukrainian universities will have access to the following services:
- Gemini 2.5 Pro – a chat tool that assists with learning and complex topics. Users can upload images and receive real-time explanations;
- Deep Research – a tool that analyzes numerous sources and creates structured reports, saving time on coursework and essays;
- NotebookLM – a personal assistant for organizing knowledge, now with enhanced audio and video analysis capabilities;
- Veo 3 – converts text or images into an 8-second video with sound;
- Jules – an AI assistant for programming, helping to write, test, and improve code;
- 2 TB of cloud storage – ample space for all notes, documents, and projects.
To participate in the program, registration on the website is required.
